Current Obsession - Scarves

I’m loving long over sized cotton scarfs at the moment. I’m not sure if it’s the bright colors I’m chosing or the way they are shaping my outfit but I am such a fan!

I wanted to share two of my faves with you guys. I picked these up on a 2 for $10 sale at the China Town night markets. When buying items from market stalls I am always conscious of the quality but when you are paying $5 per scarf you cant really complain. Fortunately for me, the quality of these scarves are amazings. They are super soft and flowy and wash really well.

These are fantastic trans-seasonal scarves as the cotton is thin enough to wear on a warmer day. It breathes really well which is something I look for when buying scarves.

So now on to two of my faves!

This looks amazing with an all black outfit!

I absolutely love this scarf.  The blue in this is fantastic and the polka dots are just fun. This is great to wear with neutral colors to just add that extra pop and Its super long which I adore.

What can I say? The Diamond Jubilee Inspired Me!

I purchased this scarf on a whim – not sure why I picked the Union Jack but I adore it. The brown tones in the scarf make it perfect to wear with not only nude colors BUT also with blacks making it a versatile purchase. It’s also extremely long so it looks really effective as a statement piece.

That’s all from me on my current obsession – I am off to film my August Faves so stay tuned for that!

August Bella Box - Quick Review

I know I am a bit behind with this post, but due to crazy and confusing circumstances I received my August Bella Box today. I thought I would show you what I got in my box. I hadn't realized there were so many variations within everyone's boxes, so I thought it would be fun to share what I got!

Bella Box - August - Go Green!

This month's theme is ‘Go Green’ I don’t use many ‘green’ products in my every day routine, so hopefully I find some winners within the box.

RRP: $24.94. Available @ www.bellabox.com.au

Luk Beatuifood Lip Nourish

This product is said to be a natural lip product that is completely edible. I think the concept is really cool, but not sure if a good concept is enough for me.  I received a plum/brown color – however, when I swatch it or put it on my lips it is basically clear which is confusing. There is no real taste, which I wasn’t expecting as the description says there are two flavors, ‘Lemon and Mint’ and ‘Lime and Ginger’.  I don’t feel this moisturizes or nourishes my lips. Unfortunately this was a bit of a miss for me.

225g RRP $29.95. Avail @ Lush stores or www.lush.com.au

Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner
Even though I absolutely love Lush, I wanted to have an unbiased opinion and just review the product. The small of the lotion is amazing, it smells so fresh. Even though the lotion is thick, it feels fantastic on my skin. I will definitely be repurchasing this and possibly posting a full review at a later stage!

354ml RRP $12.05. Avail @ Grocery Stores and Pharmacies

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion
This moisturizer feels great on the skin. It isn’t too thick and my skin just absorbs it. There is no smell which is also a good thing. I look forward to using this more in the future.

Kombucha Cleanser 120ml RRP $44 & Phytocell Cream 50ml RRP $105

EmerginC Skincare
I haven’t tested these as yet, although I am excited to use them. To be honest, I am fairly happy with my current face routine, but as they say, change is as good as a holiday.

Shampoo RRP $40 & Conditioner RRP $40
Available @ www.auroasparetreat.com.au

Aurora Spa Rituals Rose Otto & Nettle Clarifying Shampoo + Burdock & Rose revitalizing conditioner
Both the Shampoo and Conditioner have very distinct smells, I am interested to see how my hair looks after using these.

30 Satchets x 3.7g RRP $17.80
Avail @ www.phytocare.com.au

Phytocare Daily C
This is a citrus burst drink that is basically a vitamin shot. I take vitamins daily, but I will keep them in tablet form thanks!

Now, I will share something with you, I am that weird person that can’t put strange things in my mouth. Borocca is a struggle for me. However, for the sake of reseach, I will make the boyfriend (aka Terence) try this and report back.

There was also a voucher for a Bonus Product: You, Me & Everybody Bodhi hand wash which is redeemable online at www.bellabox.com.au

That is August Bella Box done and dusted for another month! I Hope you enjoyed reading what I received.

What products are you loving from the August Box?

Tight-Ass Tuesday!!

I always love reading about inexpensiveitems that work really well.

As quite the bargain hunter myself, Ithought each Tuesday I would embrace my inner 21 year old student self andrelive ‘Tightass Tuesday’ – but this time I’ll skip the pizza and beer! EachTuesday I will write about my recent inexpensive purchases and/or my favoritesale items!

So lets get started:

RimmelLondon.
Recover - Anti-FatigueConcealer

It seems Rimmel is all about making us look awake!

I recently picked this up at CosmeticFragrance Direct in Market City, Sydney for only $4 (Reduced from $10.50)

I chose the color ‘100 Ivory’ which worksreally well with my skin. It blends in nicely, but also gives enough coverage toreally hide those problem spots.

The packaging is… politely put, what youexpect for $4. But as long as the product is good, the packing is not somethingthat really bothers me, particularly when the product is under the $10 mark.

When all is said and done, I think the product is okay, andwell worth the $4 I spent.

If you are in Sydney and find yourselfin China Town, I definitely recommend you check out Cosmetic Fragrance Direct, there are so many bargains to find in that store. I did a massive shop there, so expect many more posts and videos of my finds!

What are your fave ‘cheap’ products andwhere do you find them?

Peeptoe VIP Warehouse Sale

If heaven was a place on earth, I can safely say I have witnessed it in all its glory! I have just got home from the Peeptoe warehouse sale. Now going to a warehouse sale doesn’t sound that glamorous right? RIGHT! But let me explain what I just experienced…

Imagine this if you will. You are in a large warehouse – Filled wall to wall with Peeptoe shoes, bags, shoes, accessories, shoes, rings, shoes, bracelets, clutches. Did I mention there were shoes?

Tonight was the VIP opening of their warehouse sale, which will be held over Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of August. For anyone interested I will include the Details below!

Now, I am on a self-imposed budget (I can hear a Paris Vacation Calling my name) So I was strictly on a mission for a clutch. I left with 2!

This baby is a sparkly dream! – And down to $19 from $109!!!!

This is the Lady Garland clutch - I'm not sure how or why it was on sale but I wasn't complaining! I love the size, and it has a stripe detail inside. I’m not sure where I will take it for our first date but I just know it will be spesh! It was the only sparkly one I could see so I knew it was fate (hehe)

Quilted Leather Clutch - with Chain strap attached. Also only $19!

What can I say? I am a sucker for quilted patent leather! In all honesty I think it’s always stylish and you can wear it with anything, especially being black. I am going to a wedding in a few weeks, so this clutch will definitely work for that event.

It has the signature Peeptoe stripped inside, and its just lovely! Unfortunately, as this is a 'sale' item - it has the ugly cross covering the Peeptoe logo. But as they say, you get what you pay for.

If you get a chance, I definitely suggest you check out the sale, there are sooo many bargains.  Here are the deets.

Welcome!

Welcome to my new Blog
Miss Lea!

Lets be honest, introducing yourself can often quite awkward. You are faced with so many questions. Do I share this? Do I share that? Do I tell them what I had for lunch? Should we become facebook friends? It can be stressful to say the least.

So, instead of putting myself through the turmoil, I will just say a very quick Hello ( Hi!) and leave it at that!

I will be blogging all things Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle.  I will also link my YouTube Chanel here from time to time, so feel free to check that out!

I look forward to building this blog and sharing my thoughts with you all.

Until Next Time
